How this list was made

Vietnam's AI law and the rise of practical ChatGPT courses

Vietnam moved quickly from strategy to legislation. In December 2025 the National Assembly approved the country's first Law on Artificial Intelligence, and it took effect on 1 March 2026 with a risk-based approach to data, use and accountability. Personal data rules have also tightened in recent years, starting with Decree 13/2023 on personal data protection. Together these give employers a clear reason to teach staff safe, documented ways of using ChatGPT.
