What are Artifacts?
Artifacts are Claude’s live workspace: when you ask Claude to create something substantial, it builds a document, app or visual in a side panel next to your conversation. You watch it take shape, edit it directly, ask for changes and share the result, all without leaving the chat. Instead of copying text out and reformatting it elsewhere, your team gets a working deliverable they can iterate on in real time.
