Claude Code Training in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi’s software teams range from five-person Hub71 start-ups to large digital units inside state-linked groups. Our Claude Code training in Abu Dhabi meets both: practical sessions on Anthropic’s agentic coding tool, with permission design, data classification and code review discipline built in rather than bolted on.

Overview

Agentic coding in a capital that takes AI seriously

Few cities have made AI as visible a policy priority as Abu Dhabi. Research groups such as MBZUAI and companies like G42 have helped build a local talent pool that already understands models; what many engineering teams still lack is a shared, disciplined way of letting an AI agent work on production code. That gap is what our Claude Code training Abu Dhabi programme addresses.

Claude Code is Anthropic’s agentic coding tool. It reads a codebase, plans changes, edits files, runs commands and tests, and handles git, from the terminal, IDE, desktop app or web. For a start-up on Al Maryah Island the appeal is speed: a small team covering more ground before the next funding round. For the digital function of a sovereign or state-linked entity, the priority is control: who may run the agent, against which repositories, with what logging.

Topics we tailor for Abu Dhabi teams

  • Permission modes and managed settings that match your data classification, including repositories that must never leave a restricted network.
  • CLAUDE.md conventions that make the agent follow your architecture decisions instead of inventing new ones.
  • Custom Skills, slash commands and plugins for repeated tasks such as API scaffolding or test generation.
  • Headless use in CI pipelines and the Claude Agent SDK for internal developer tooling.
  • Awareness of the UAE PDPL and the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021 where regulated data appears in code or fixtures.

We train onsite across the capital or live-online, typically in half-day blocks that fit around delivery commitments. We are an independent training provider; nothing here implies a partnership with any organisation named on this page.

Highlights

What your Abu Dhabi engineers will practise

Permission design

Choosing between ask, accept-edits and plan modes, and locking defaults centrally through enterprise managed settings.

Context that sticks

Layering organisation, project and personal CLAUDE.md files so architectural rules survive across sessions and new joiners.

Skills and slash commands

Packaging a repeatable task, such as adding an audited endpoint, into a Skill the whole team can invoke.

Reviewing AI-written code

A structured review for injection risks, unsafe dependencies, hard-coded credentials and silently weakened tests.

Claude Agent SDK basics

Building a small internal agent, for example one that triages failing builds and posts a summary.

Usage and cost tracking

Reading usage data so engineering managers see adoption and spend by team before scaling licences.

In your workflow

A Hub71 start-up shipping a compliance feature

A four-person fintech team at Hub71 needs audit logging before an ADGM regulatory sandbox review. The lead writes the requirement into plan mode; Claude Code proposes a logging module, middleware changes and tests. A subagent reviews the diff for leaked personal data, the team adjusts two fields, and the feature merges the same week.

Use it for

Common Claude Code use cases in Abu Dhabi

Start-up velocity

Small Hub71 teams scaffold services, write tests and fix bugs faster without hiring ahead of their next round.

ADGM fintech controls

Adding audit trails, input validation and documentation that make regulator and investor technical reviews smoother for ADGM-licensed firms.

Applied AI engineering

Building evaluation harnesses, data pipelines and model-serving code for teams working within the capital’s growing AI ecosystem.

State-linked digital units

Modernising internal portals and integration layers for large entities, with every change logged and reviewed under strict permissions.

Energy and industrial software

Refactoring data-collection services and reporting code used by operations teams in oil, gas and utilities.

Bilingual citizen-facing apps

Handling right-to-left layouts, Arabic strings and bilingual test data in web and mobile apps used by residents.

FAQ

Claude Code Training in Abu Dhabi — questions

Yes. The content changes with the audience. Start-ups usually want speed and a light set of guardrails, so we compress the programme into focused half days. Larger entities need governance, managed settings and evidence for internal audit, so we add a session for IT and security leads.
No. We mention them only as part of the local AI landscape. We are an independent corporate trainer and have no partnership with those organisations or with Anthropic. Our trainers are Anthropic Claude Certified, which is an individual credential rather than a commercial relationship.
That decision belongs to your security function and data classification policy, not to us. In training we show what controls exist, such as permission modes, excluded paths, managed settings and logging, so your team can assess whether a restricted repository is in scope or should be excluded.
Most developers are useful with Claude Code after the first half day. Getting a team to consistent habits takes longer, usually two to four weeks of practice after training, which is why we leave every cohort with a shared CLAUDE.md template, review checklist and a short list of agreed slash commands.
Claude Code is available on paid Claude plans, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise, and through the API. For organisations in Abu Dhabi, Team or Enterprise usually makes sense because administrators get central controls and usage reporting. We can explain the trade-offs, but your procurement team should confirm pricing with Anthropic.
