Overview

Claude Code for public-service and telecom engineering

A large share of Delhi’s software work is commissioned rather than sold. System integrators and in-house teams build citizen portals, scheme dashboards and file-movement systems for ministries and departments, often on contracts that fix the hosting, the stack and the documentation set in advance. PSU IT teams run ERP customisations, plant and grid applications, and vendor-built systems that have changed hands several times. Telecom engineers handle OSS/BSS, billing mediation and network-inventory code where one outage reaches millions of subscribers.

That mix suits Claude Code well, provided teams learn to use it with care. The workshop shows developers how Claude reads an inherited codebase, explains what each module does and writes the missing technical documentation that audits and handovers depend on. We practise plan mode for changes to approval workflows, subagents for parallel test-writing, and Skills that encode your department’s coding and accessibility conventions, including GIGW and WCAG checks for public-facing pages.

Security and data rules that apply here

CERT-In directions require reportable incidents to be reported within six hours and logs to be retained for 180 days, so we cover logging changes and secure review of AI-written code. The DPDP Act and the DPDP Rules notified in November 2025 shape how test data is handled, and the Data Protection Board itself sits in the NCR. We also discuss MeitY cloud empanelment and data-residency clauses that decide which plan and access route a project may use, and how to record that choice in a tender file.

Sessions are held in central Delhi, Nehru Place, Okhla or Jasola, or online for teams spread across the region.

Highlights

Skills your Delhi NCR engineers build

Reverse-engineer inherited code

Have Claude map an unfamiliar codebase, list its modules and dependencies, and draft the design document nobody wrote.

Tender-ready documentation

Generate API specifications, test reports and change logs in the formats that government project reviews and handover audits ask for.

Subagents for parallel work

Split test generation, code review and documentation across subagents so one developer moves through a large module faster.

Permission modes and secrets

Choose permission modes per project and keep credentials, Aadhaar-linked fields and API keys out of prompts, logs and commits.

Accessibility checks via Skills

Package GIGW and WCAG checks as a reusable Skill so every public page change is tested the same way.

Telecom OSS/BSS changes

Work through billing mediation, rating rules and provisioning code with tests that replay real call-detail record formats.

cait corporate team

In your workflow

A scheme portal change under deadline

A department announces a revised eligibility rule two weeks before launch. The team lead opens Claude Code on the scheme portal repository, asks for a plan covering the rules engine, the application form and the reports module, and approves it. Claude edits each layer, updates Hindi and English labels, writes regression tests and produces a change note for the department’s review committee.

Use it for

Delhi NCR use cases for Claude Code

Citizen service portals

Add services, fix form validation and improve performance on citizen-facing portals while keeping accessibility and bilingual content intact.

PSU ERP customisation

Understand and extend custom ABAP, Java or PL/SQL code layered on ERP systems in power, oil and heavy-engineering PSUs.

Telecom billing and mediation

Trace rating and billing bugs across mediation scripts and billing engines, then write tests before patching any production logic.

Data migration between systems

Write and verify migration scripts when a department moves from a legacy application to a new platform, with row-count reconciliation built in.

Fixes from security audit findings

Turn VAPT and security-audit findings into scoped code fixes, with Claude explaining each change for the auditor’s closure report.

API layers for integration

Build and document APIs that connect department systems to national platforms and payment gateways, with contract tests for each endpoint.

FAQ

Claude Code Training in Delhi NCR for Public-Sector Tech — questions

That depends on your contract, data classification and the department’s approvals, not on the tool alone. We help teams understand where code is processed, which plans offer admin controls, and how to keep restricted data out of sessions, so the right officials can make an informed decision.
Yes, from a developer’s point of view. We show how logging, incident detection and test-data handling in code relate to the CERT-In directions and to the DPDP Act and Rules. Legal interpretation remains with your counsel and CISO, and we say so plainly.
Yes. The Delhi NCR programme is built around government platforms, PSU systems and telecom. Gurgaon focuses on product companies and consumer internet teams, and Noida on IT services delivery and embedded firmware. Organisations with mixed needs can combine modules.
Yes. Many PSU IT engineers maintain older Java, .NET or ERP code, and Claude Code is useful precisely there because it explains unfamiliar code in plain language. We pace the first day for mixed experience and pair newer developers with stronger ones.
Sonnet 5.5 for everyday fixes and features, Opus 5.5 when a large module needs restructuring or migration, and Fable 5.1 sparingly for the hardest problems. All have a 1M-token context window, which helps with large inherited codebases and long specification documents.
