Top 10 Agentic AI Trainers in Australia (2026)

If your Australian organisation wants agents that are useful and well governed, contact us with your first use case and we will shape a Claude programme around it. Updated October 2026.

Hitesh Motwani, our lead trainer, ranks #1 in this guide to Agentic AI trainers in Australia, alongside PM-Partners, the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) and Nexacu. We wrote it for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane leaders, plus SME owners in priority industries, who need teams to design and govern agents rather than simply use chatbots.

How this list was made

Governance sat at the centre of our selection, so we favoured courses that reflect the federal government's voluntary AI safety guidance and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. We also considered relevance to SMEs reached by the AI Adopt Program and the balance between no-code Copilot Studio routes and developer training.

Disclosure: our lead trainer is listed first; every other entry links to its own website.

Checklist: picking a Agentic AI trainer in Australia

How Australian organisations are learning to govern agents

The federal AI Adopt Program funds up to five AI Adopt Centres, with grants of $3 million to $5 million over four years, acting as a front door for SMEs in National Reconstruction Fund priority sectors that want to adopt AI responsibly. These centres combine specialist guidance with training, which has lifted demand for practical courses on designing and governing agents, not only for using generative AI tools in everyday office work.

Australian providers have responded with dedicated agent tracks. Some courses have participants build a Copilot Studio agent and a governance card in a day, business schools teach leaders where human and agent decisions should split, and university short courses give Copilot users a first step into agents. Under the Privacy Act 1988 and its Australian Privacy Principles, any agent handling personal information needs clear purposes, security and transparency, so governance content is often the deciding factor for buyers.

FAQ

Questions

AI Adopt Centres funded under the program provide specialist guidance and training to SMEs in priority sectors. Availability, eligibility and the kind of support on offer differ by centre, so contact the centre relevant to your industry or region. Private agent courses can then build on that guidance with hands-on work on your own processes.
The Privacy Act 1988 and its Australian Privacy Principles apply when an agent collects, uses or discloses personal information. That covers purpose limits, data security and transparency about how information is handled. Practical training should show how to limit an agent’s data access and log its actions. Your privacy officer should review any production deployment before customers are affected.
Teams already standardised on Microsoft 365 often start with Copilot Studio for its Teams and SharePoint links. Claude suits work needing strong reasoning across long documents, coding agents or use outside the Microsoft stack. Several Australian providers now teach both, and a good programme spends time on design and governance principles that apply to either tool.
Leaders should be able to decide which tasks an agent may complete alone, where human approval is required, how errors are escalated and who is accountable. The federal government’s voluntary AI safety guidance offers a useful reference. Courses that end with a written governance plan or agent card give leaders something concrete to take back to their boards.
Costs vary with format, duration, group size, location and how much the course is customised for your systems. Public courses and in-house programmes are priced differently. We do not publish figures, so the best approach is to request a proposal from each shortlisted provider against the same brief and compare inclusions.
